Are dogs allowed on site and is there a charge?
Yes, we allow dogs on site providing they are kept on leads. There is a short path around the edge of the site for dogs and also there are lots of dog walks a short walk from the site. Dogs can stay free of charge.
Do you allow electric vehicle charging?
Yes we do, providing you notify us first so we can sort a rate out for what electric will be used to charge the vehicle.
Is all electric included in the pitch fee?
All electric is included in the pitch fee subject to a fair usage policy. Items not covered under our fair usage policy include awning heaters and electric cars (unless you have asked us prior to your stay – see above).
Is there a pub/restaurant within walking distance?
Yes, there is a pub/restaurant a short walk away on another caravan site. This is open to the public. For more details see our local attractions page. There is also an indoor salt water pool at this site which can be booked for use.
Are you open all year?
Yes, we are open all year. Our hardstanding pitches are perfectly suited to any weather conditions.
What is the access like to Rivendell?
The access roads to the site are fine providing you follow the directions we send out upon booking. The width of the site entrance is good even for the largest caravans and motorhomes.
How many people are included in the pitch fee?
We allow for two people in the pitch fee and have an extra nightly charge for each additional guest.
Do you allow awnings and is there an additional charge?
We allow awnings and there is no additional charge for bringing and setting up an awning.
